Membership is by invitation for people of all ages from the age of 14 upwards who wish to belong to this singing group which is dedicated to achieving a high standard of singing excellence.

All singers are encouraged to improve their skills and participate in the regular Opera North concert events.

The emphasis in belonging to Opera North is to enter into the spirit of fun and friendship, which creates the strong camaraderie that members all enjoy.

Many members also participate in other musical groups and theatrical productions throughout Northland, as it not essential for Opera North members to participate in every Opera North event. Opera North
